After graduating from Victoria University Melanie gained experience in computer software sales & marketing and account management. She also has extensive experience in the food/beverage & hospitality field.

Melanie established Avenues Event Management in 1990, recognising that just as an event requires a range of components and contributors, an event management team requires a range of skills and competencies.

As the strategist of her team, Melanie ensures that the outcome of the project is always kept in mind. She seeks partnerships with her clients and stakeholders, and is a problem solver.
