The New Zealand Petroleum Conference is New Zealand’s premier upstream oil and gas event, attracting large numbers of delegates from both across the country and around the world

The 2017 Conference will be hosted in the city of New Plymouth, located at the heart of New Zealand’s oil and gas producing region of Taranaki, and will provide a unique opportunity to see the New Zealand oil and gas industry in action.

The New Zealand Petroleum Conference 2017 will feature the Government’s launch of Block Offer 2017 – the exclusive tender for exploration permits.

New Zealand’s upstream petroleum industry has the potential to experience strong growth over the coming years. The country is attracting strong international attention with exploration activities underway in a number of the country’s 17 sedimentary basins, with general agreement there is strong potential for hydrocarbon deposits.
