Accommodation and booking Information

A range of hotel rooms in different price categories have been booked in central Wellington at preferential rates for the conference. These hotels, detailed below, are situated within 15 minutes walk of the conference venue, the Wellington Convention Centre.

Important information to know:

  • These room rates are available only by booking your accommodation as part of the online registration process or on the enclosed registration form.
  • Rooms will be allocated on a first-in basis until 18 October 2009, as long as there are rooms available. After that date, all unallocated rooms will be released and no guarantee can be made that rooms will still be available. We encourage delegates to book early to secure your preferred hotel.
  • Accommodation booked must be guaranteed with a deposit of one room night payable to Avenues Event Management. On check-out, the balance of your accommodation costs can be settled with cash, eftpos or credit card.
  • All accommodation rates are priced per night in New Zealand Dollars and include 12.5% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  • If you would like to check-in earlier than the time stated for your chosen hotel, please book yourself in for the night before on your registration form or online registration. This is advisable for international delegates arriving on early morning flights.
  • If you will be arriving at your hotel after 6:00pm, please indicate this on your registration form or online registration to avoid your room being released and a ‘no show’ fee being charged.
  • Charges for cancellation of accommodation will be subject to the discretion of the hotel concerned.
